| I have owned this bike since early 1999. It had only covered 1000 miles when I bought it, It has now done just over 33000 miles and has never let me down. The bike is mechanical faultless and totally reliable. It has just been moted and is taxed until the end of Feb. 2011. It is fitted with a giva screen and rentec engine bars. The bike is in good condition for its age and well worth a look. There is some slight pitting on the sides of the engine covers but not enough to detract from its good looks. I have bought a 1100 Virago and cannot justify keeping the two so I am selling this one. I live on the Mid Wales border about 20 miles from Hereford. I will try and put a picture on soon. | XV 1100 in good condition for its age. This bike has dragon pipes so sounds fantastic and has been re jetted to suit so runs perfectly. Starts first time every time. There are a couple of small tears in the seat and backrest (there is a spare seat with the bike) Paint generally very good, one small chip in the tank. Mudguards slight rust on edges (not unusual on these bikes). I have tried to describe this bike as honestly as possible. Its not a show winner but mechanically it is perfect. Mileage approx 30000miles showing in KMs as 50773 Nearly New tyres and battery 12 months MOT 6 months tax I can send pics by e.mail if better definition or more pics are needed. | i've got my virago for sale , it was going to be a quick project whilst i was getting my license but shortly after getting my license i got my hands on a nice little kawasaki z440h (which is a little easier to work on) and enjoying that one just now . so the virago has been gathering dust now and needs a better place to go to . starter motor has been replaced , new ignition coils have been put on , it needs a new cdi/ecu unit and a indicator relay , back break sticks but that is just a matter of taking the backwheel off , opening up and greasing up and giving a good clean and it should work fine again , she does need some tlc but will work beautifully , i had her running for a day before the ecu/cdi blew spent hours and hours going over the electrics with a mechanic to make sure everything works and the conclusion we came to is that the ecu/cdi is blown,if you know someone who can fix it that would probably work out cheaper that way . it is a project bike as long as you keep that in mind if your interested still good tires on it and i have the owner documents DROPPED DOWN TO £300 now :( contact thom 07729537828 | ||||||

Tank and fenders resprayed grey, new screen just fitted, old one as spare, nice sound from non-standard pipes, originals come with bike as spares or MoT reuirements. | Virago XV750 1994 in excellent condition, 12k miles, 5 months tax and will come with year's MOT. I have owned the bike for the last 3 years and really enjoyed riding it. It is fitted with Vmax rear shocks and Gemini pipes which sound great, and which are fitted with a removable baffle to mute them slightly. The bike always starts easily and runs very well. The flatter handlebars make town riding and wiggling through traffic a doddle. The battery was replaced 1 year ago, and the front fork seals have also been replaced, and the bike has been regularly serviced. The chrome and paint is in very good condition with only a few tiny faults and mudguards are very good with no rust. The seat is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The tyres are good. The bike has been garaged for the last two years, and only very infrequently used in the rain. It has also been protected with ACF50. Not your average 750 and well above average condition.
