Over 150 bikes made the short run to Blackpool and the parade past the sea front provided a jaw dropping spectacle to the public.

With all the praying for good weather paying off, some decided to sunbathe back at the campsite while around 100 others ventured into the hills. Some actually thought the pace was too fast, making it difficult to enjoy the spectacular views whilst concentrating on riding.

So on the return leg things were indeed slowed down ...to a pace where full concentration was required to avoid exchanging paint with the bike in front of you and no chance to enjoy the scenery. A lesson learnt perhaps.
